Private Jet
to Maldives.
The most remote luxury destination in the world — reached entirely on your schedule.
Velana International Airport in Malé serves as the entry point for the Maldives, and from there the islands fan out across 1,500 kilometres of Indian Ocean. Inner islands like Praslin and La Digue are accessible by seaplane or helicopter; outer private island resorts sometimes have their own airstrips. We map the entire itinerary before departure — aircraft to Malé, then island logistics at the level of detail that luxury travel demands.
The Maldives peak season runs December through April. We recommend booking at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance for peak-season slots and seaplane coordination. Our clients travel here for complete disconnection — and the last thing they want to think about is logistics.

Questions about
flying to Maldives.
How do I get from Malé airport to my resort?
Most resorts require a seaplane or speedboat transfer after landing at Velana. Outer atolls are typically 30 to 45 minutes by seaplane; some resorts with private helipads can arrange helicopter transfers. We coordinate the entire chain — aircraft to Malé, then the island-to-island leg — before you depart.
Can I fly non-stop from Europe to the Maldives?
Yes, on ultra-long-range aircraft. London to the Maldives is approximately 10 to 11 hours. The Bombardier Global 7500 and Gulfstream G650 cover this non-stop. The Gulfstream G550 from Milan requires one technical stop.
When should I book for peak season?
December through April is peak season. We advise booking 6 to 8 weeks in advance, particularly for the December – January period when European demand peaks sharply. Seaplane slots at the major resort atolls also need to be confirmed in advance.
Do I need any special documentation to arrive in the Maldives?
Standard visa-on-arrival is available for most nationalities at Velana International. Private aviation does not require additional documentation beyond the standard passport requirements. We advise on health and entry requirements as part of every booking.
Is it worth flying private to the Maldives?
Unequivocally yes — for groups of 4 or more. The per-seat cost of a private jet from London or Milan, split across a group, often approaches business class pricing while offering an entirely private journey, flexible departure times, and no airport queuing in either direction.
